Travelling to Norwich
- Flying to Norwich: apart from Norwich Airport (which is convenient only if you are travelling from Amsterdam), the closest international airport is Stansted, with direct trains to Norwich leaving almost every hour from the airport (the trip is slightly less than two hours).
- Travel by train: Norwich Station is within easy reach from London (Liverpool Street Station) and Cambridge and it is located very close to the city centre (ten minutes away on foot), with regular taxis and electric bus services throughout the day and at night. The buses heading to the University of East Anglia are number 25 and 26 (blue line). It takes about 30 minutes on a bus to reach the UEA campus.
Staying in Norwich
- two guest houses are especially close to campus and affordable, namely Arrandale Lodge and Broadview Lodge (the latter has limited space so it must be booked significantly in advance).
- if you wish to enjoy the city of Norwich as well as the conference, there are plenty of accommodation opportunity in the town centre or its vicinity. Booking or TripAdvisor are helpful resources. Taxis, buses, or a longer walk (30 to 50 minutes) will take you to campus from the city centre with ease.
